Be warned that the author has made every effort to make the dialogue conform to the English of that era. Hopefully, the reader doesn't mind using the second person singular ("Thou") and its related forms since that would be the way that the characters in this story would have actually talked. A few years ago, Céladon asked me to take a look at this great unfinished work to see if I would undertake the challenge of completing the story. Maiocxx had edited the last few chapters of the original story. Working together, the two of us accepted the challenge. Later, Magnus Emendator took over from Maiocxx and has both contributed to the story as well as edited recent chapters. The results are something that we would like to share that will continue and ultimately complete the story of Derrik and his 'family' of survivors.
